Professional Development

I have taught art to kindergarteners, K-12 educators and just about everyone in between, in settings ranging from the South Bronx to rural Wisconsin.  I am currently the Director of the Art Education Program at the State University of New York at New Paltz, and have taught at Tyler School of Art, Pratt Institute, Teachers College, Columbia University, the College of New Rochelle and the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. I worked for many years as a teaching artist in the New York City public schools with Studio in a School, and have been involved in multiple local and national research projects.
