I’m an artist, educator, and researcher
exploring how drawing and painting
help us connect with the natural world.
In a time when everything seems
to be speeding up, drawing is a way of
slowing down, to see and experience
the moments of our lives more deeply.
I’m the author of Drawing Thought  (MIT Press)
and an Associate Professor in the
Art Education Program at SUNY New Paltz.
